You couldn't of said it better, I agree we as a unit need to work towards this goal to decrease the percentage of people starving not just by 2050, but it's a major crisis in our world at this moment.Anthony Escobarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06377320207790594438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669994303004884356.post-87581790680375001582011-10-24T11:09:10.629-05:002011-10-24T11:09:10.629-05:00Anthony, I definately agree with your concern for ...Anthony, I definately agree with your concern for our world's future. As a unit, we are going to need to change the way we produce food to accomadate larger amounts because we still have people starving even without a major increase in population. Perhaps each country should increase the amound of land given to agriculture or use it more efficiently. I also agree with Daniel in the respect that the world needs to work together to stop hunger. I also agree with Wendy because there is such a huge difference between the poor and the wealthy because the poor can eat off of $1 a day in some cases, but the rich can spend an infinite amount of money on food and have extra to be disposed of.Brooke Bodehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14356486804514056662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669994303004884356.post-35415081280374296002011-10-24T11:02:39.696-05:002011-10-24T11:02:39.696-05:00Thank you both for your comments!

I agree that we could try to help as much as we want, but I also think that we'd never actually do enough to make a significant difference by the time the population increases to the point to where there starvation in our world today won't be as large of an issue as it is today.

Wendy: i agree, I don't know if we are going to need outrageous laws around the globe just to help a suffering child or family instead of indulging in unnescasary things.Anthony Escobarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06377320207790594438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669994303004884356.post-17608544504741869242011-10-22T19:53:33.035-05:002011-10-22T19:53:33.035-05:00This has always bees an issue in the world. People...This has always bees an issue in the world. People have so much different life styles. In highly developed countries, one single child can consume more then 12 children can do in poor countries. The population is growing rapidly, how to feed everyone comes a problem. However, there are people living luxury life, what can we do to balance the world is a problem. Do we really have to have laws about having only one child to prevent the crazy growth of population? Would that really help? Or can we limit the food recourse for every family from now on?WendyShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16373246431901677710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669994303004884356.post-62257556909235276932011-10-13T20:19:55.640-05:002011-10-13T20:19:55.640-05:00This is very important issues that affects people ...This is very important issues that affects people around the world today. I believe that countries could try and help others who are suffering, but the aid provided probably wouldn't be enough. Each country puts its own people before those of others, so if population continues to increase all over the world and starvation spreads, each country will focus on themselves before reaching out a helping hand to others. Also the estimate of the population in 2050 is not a guarantee. Certain changes could caused drastic affects to the population of the world to an extent that starvation might not be a problem.Danielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02870857171424841587noreply@blogger.com
